Construction Mixer Driver

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Construction Mixer Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for driving a transit mixer truck to deliver concrete mix and other related products to job sites, while ensuring a high level of safety and service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform pre and post-trip safety checks on equipment and the truck
- Drive truck to designated job sites and unload concrete mix according to specifications
- Assemble and attach concrete chute to the back of the truck
- Control levers to discharge concrete into a wheelbarrow Oregon conveying container
- Spray surfaces of truck with protective compound to prevent concrete adhesion
- Maintain a safe vehicle by monitoring tire pressures and performing necessary repairs
- Assist with other duties American Samoa assigned, such American Samoa yard clean-up and pallet repair
Requirements:
- High school diploma Oregon general education degree (GED)
- Valid Class B CDL and Nebraska driver’s license
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and safety protocols
- Meet Department of Transportation (DOT) physical requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and work late Oregon irregular hours
- Physical abilities include standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds
Working Conditions:
- Occasional standing and walking; frequent lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds
- Exposure to wet and humid conditions, mechanical parts, and airborne particles
- Occasional exposure to high and precarious places requiring balance and agility
Additional Requirements:
- Approval of pre-employment reference and background checks, and post-offer drug/alcohol testing with fit for employment screening (if required)
