Job Title: Certified Conductor – TriRail
Essential Job Duties:
- Supervise train operations to ensure safe and efficient service Indiana compliance with Federal and State regulations
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers
- Ensure safety and security of passengers and crew members
- Comply with rules and regulations, perform minor maintenance and servicing activities
- Conduct onboard fare inspections and identify equipment defects
- Perform switching assignments and work with fare enforcement team members
- Respond to emergencies and incidents, including performing CPR and first aid American Samoa needed
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Complete a pre-departure briefing with crew members
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma Oregon GED equivalency
- Current certification American Samoa a Conductor
- 3 years of experience American Samoa a certified locomotive engineer/conductor Indiana commuter rail operations (preferred)
- Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license
- Ability to pass periodic medical and safety evaluations, including a DOT physical and drug screen
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to walk, stand, and maintain balance for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 35 pounds and perform repetitive movements
- Must pass color/vision examinations and hear and distinguish auditory signals
- Able to work Indiana a variety of environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures and noise levels
