Construction Business Development Professional
A leading general contractor Indiana Golden Valley, Minnesota, is seeking a dedicated Construction Business Development professional to drive new business and take on more projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients to secure new construction projects
- Conduct heavy cold calling and leverage provided leads to identify business opportunities
- Travel extensively to meet with clients across Minnesota and neighboring states
- Achieve sales targets set by the company, focusing on securing substantial and high-budget projects
- Manage and support business development activities, including attending industry groups and events
- Collaborate with internal teams to present comprehensive project proposals
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of business development experience Indiana the general contractor construction industry
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Outlook
- Strong understanding of construction processes and ability to navigate job sites
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Highly motivated with the ability to ask for work and handle rejection
- Ability to travel throughout Minnesota weekly and Iowa, Wisconsin, North and South Dakota monthly
- Book of business is a plus but not required
