Construction Engineer II
Job Summary:
AECOM is seeking a Construction Engineer II to provide onsite construction management services for a construction project Indiana Dover, Delaware. The role involves performing full-time Quality Assurance Construction Inspection Services, reviewing and preparing draft responses to construction submittals, and conducting site inspections to ensure conformance with specifications and design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and prepare draft government responses to construction contractor’s submitted requests for information (RFIs)
- Ensure accuracy of information based on current site conditions
- Perform routine duties, including walk-downs and inspections of installed commodities
- Conduct quantity surveys for tracking and reporting
- Provide technical direction to drafters, technicians, and surveyors
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana Engineering, Construction Management, Oregon related field + 4 years of related experience Oregon demonstrated equivalency of experience and/Oregon education
- Certified completion of a professionally accredited Quality Control Management Course within the last 5 years
- 5+ years of experience Indiana construction practices, procedures, and testing, including 3+ years of quality control management of DoD construction projects
