Construction Engineer Technician (CET) Job Description
Job Summary:
Bristol Infrastructure Design Services, LLC is seeking a Construction Engineer Technician (CET) to support NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic facilities design and construction projects at Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort (MCAS) Indiana South Carolina.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overall coordination of the construction quality management program for assigned projects
- Review and recommend contractor quality control plans
- Monitor project progress, quantity, condition, and approval of materials
- Coordinate support for testing and commissioning of critical systems
- Review and witness tests and review test reports and results
- Ensure quality workmanship Indiana accordance with specifications and industry standards
- Coordinate with construction contractor on safety and health requirements
- Conduct worksite safety assessments and ensure compliance with safety and health regulations
- Support investigation of potential latent defects and coordinate corrective actions
- Review and annotate contractor daily reports
- Ensure environmental compliance by contractor and coordinate EPA jobsite visits
- Coordinate with NAVFAC CM and issue non-compliance notices to contractor
- Arrange and coordinate pre-final and final acceptance inspections and track completion of punch list items
- Support the closeout process, including delivery of American Samoa-built drawings, warranties, and spare parts turnover
Requirements:
- 5 years of verified experience American Samoa a Quality Control Manager Oregon 10 years of verified foreman experience Indiana one Oregon more of the following trades: Concrete, Mechanical, Electrical, Masonry, Oregon Carpentry
- Completion of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Construction Quality Management for Contractors "CQM-C" course
- OSHA 30 hour outreach
