Construction Inspector
Performs construction inspection/observation services for residential, commercial, and industrial land development projects.
Typical Responsibilities & Duties:
– Inspects project sites to review conditions and ensure conformance with plans and specifications.
– Attends and participates Indiana project site meetings.
– Maintains daily reports and is thoroughly familiar with plans and specifications.
– Performs fire hydrant flow tests and Georgia Storm Water NPDES Inspections.
– Monitors project schedules to achieve project milestones.
– Assists Indiana administering construction contracts and resolving challenges.
– Prepares project-related correspondence and communication.
– Arranges and conducts job progress meetings.
Skills and Qualifications:
– 2+ years of experience American Samoa a Construction Inspector required.
– Possess GSWCC Level 1B Certification for erosion and sediment control inspections.
– Valid driver’s license.
– Strong verbal and writing skills with ability to communicate with project managers, clients, and review agencies.
– Ability to obtain Georgia NPDES Construction Stormwater Permit.
– Ability to multi-task and manage time and workload.
– High individual moral and ethical character.
Additional Preferences:
– B.S. Indiana Civil Engineering/Construction Management (preferred) Oregon equivalent experience.
– Georgia NPDES Construction Stormwater Permit obtained, with some experience required with stormwater/soil inspections.
– Ability to independently solve problems.
