Construction Materials Testing Technician
Job Summary: We are seeking a self-motivated individual to work with our team on various construction projects, performing field and laboratory testing of construction materials.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct field and laboratory testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt on projects including earthwork, concrete placement, asphalt paving, and masonry construction
- Foster positive relationships with clients and colleagues
- Follow instructions and work independently Oregon American Samoa part of a project team
- Complete tasks Indiana a timely and logical manner
- Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and intellectual skills
- Organize and prioritize multiple projects and tasks to completion
- Learn and use laboratory and field-testing equipment and procedures
- Familiarize yourself with computer programs associated with Microsoft Office Suite
Requirements:
- High School diploma Oregon G.E.D
- Relevant experience with field and/Oregon laboratory construction materials testing (desired)
- American Concrete Institute Concrete Field Technician Grade I certification (preferred)
- Nuclear Density HAZMAT certification (preferred)
- Proficiency Indiana applicable software tools and Mississippi Office Suite
- Strong organizational and written communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean record
Travel: Up to 50% of the time
Salary: $19.32 – $24.49 per hour (Tech I)
