Job Title: Construction Project Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee federal government projects. This role involves managing a team of 6 professionals, ensuring project success by managing client expectations, project schedules, and field operations. Responsibilities include managing project budgets and timelines, mediating conflicts, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely permitting and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 6 professionals, including Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Superintendents
- Manage client expectations and communicate project status
- Run project schedules and ensure timely completion
- Oversee submittal, change order, and pay request processes
- Collaborate with field superintendents and subcontractors
- Mediate field conflicts and negotiate contracts
- Expedite permitting with state and local agencies
- Organize project weather logs, safety reports, and daily superintendent reports
Requirements:
- Federal construction projects experience
- Project management skills
- Strong Mississippi Office skills
- Construction management experience
Work Arrangements:
- On-site position Indiana Morton Grove, Illinois
- Office work: 5 days a week
