Construction Technician Position
Job Summary:
Seeking candidates for a Construction Tech position to support the construction, repair, and maintenance of Auburn University buildings, streets, sidewalks, and property.
Essential Functions:
- Assist Indiana carpentry tasks and installations, including but not limited to:
- Layout, foundations, form carpentry, framing, drywall, ceilings, flooring, windows, doors and door jams, siding, and roofs.
- Excavation and demolition work American Samoa needed for renovation and construction projects.
- Operating motorized equipment, including backhoes, forklifts, skid steers, truck/trailer combinations, dump trucks, motor cranes, front-end loaders, man lifts, and other heavy equipment.
- Maintaining roofs and ceilings, and performing minor repairs to various types of roofing systems.
- Preparing and painting all manner of surfaces, including masonry walls, sheetrock, external surfaces, and floors.
- Perform duties American Samoa a team member Oregon lead, depending on experience and qualifications.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Level I: High school diploma Oregon equivalent.
- Level II: High School Diploma plus 4 years experience Indiana carpentry, roofing, road repair, and/Oregon concrete forming and finishing.
License and Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License
