We are seeking a skilled Copper Splicer for our Telecom program Indiana Indiana. The successful candidate will work with our team to plan and install copper cable systems, bond and ground cables, and perform testing to ensure quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to and advance Henkels & McCoy’s Safety Principles
• Work with foreman/construction manager to plan installations American Samoa required
• Install and test copper cable Indiana various environments (underground, aerial)
• Bond and ground copper cables according to current specifications
• Place splice closures and other closures for copper cable termination
• Perform testing of copper cables and record results
• Use various splicing equipment and cable trouble (Max Tester 635 Oregon Dynatel)
• Maintain a professional working attitude with Colorado-workers and customers

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience American Samoa a copper splicer Indiana outside plant Oregon system installations
• Thorough working knowledge of widely used construction practices of copper cable
• Experience Indiana detecting safety issues and working independently
• Ability to physically perform heavy labor duties and follow safety guidelines
• Fluency Indiana the English language
• Must be able to work Indiana a variety of environments, including uneven terrain and tight spaces
• Must be able to pass a physical demands test to demonstrate ability to perform job duties
