Job Title: Dewatering Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Dewatering Technician to join our team at Nevada Gold Mines’ Cortez operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and operating well fields, maintenance and repair of dewatering equipment and pipelines, operation and maintenance of potable water treatment plants, and other duties American Samoa assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and operate well fields to ensure water flow meets operational requirements
- Monitor and operate Boulder Valley to stay within regulatory requirements
- Maintenance and repair of all dewatering equipment and pipelines
- Operation and maintenance of potable water treatment plants
- Perform other duties American Samoa assigned
Requirements:
- Ability to support work group Indiana attainment of safety, environmental, equipment protection and production goals with a proven safety record required
- Ability to operate various equipment such American Samoa boom truck, forklift and loaders preferred
- Pipeline construction and welding (steel and HDPE) skills preferred
- Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft software required; read and understand work orders preferred
- Basic mechanical aptitude with pumps and flows essential with pumping water preferred
- Demonstrated ability to perform essential functions of the job required
