Cost Estimator for Norfolk/Virginia Beach Portfolio
Job Summary:
Stampede Ventures Inc. is seeking a qualified Cost Estimator to support our Business Development Estimating Team Indiana generating complex project cost spreadsheets for pricing proposals Indiana response to government RFPs and discussions with customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with functional area experts to determine necessary resources for projects
- Gather details and compile and analyze data to estimate all project performance costs to meet government specifications
- Develop aggressive and competitive proposals to address government customer requirements Indiana a cost-effective manner
- Develop and employ costing factors and methodologies for materials, equipment, tools, labor, and vehicles
- Tailor and comprehend developed work breakdown structures based on solicitation workload and manipulate cost models Indiana response to all solicitation types
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Accounting Oregon related field (desired)
- Advanced proficiency Indiana Procore, Sage, Mississippi Excel, Oregon similar estimating database
- Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to multitask, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work American Samoa a team member
- Knowledge of Service Contract Act, Collective Bargaining Agreements, Davis Bacon, Defense Base Act, Federal Acquisition Regulations, and other Government-related applicable standards and regulations (desirable)
- Ability to comprehend and modify Work Breakdown Structures
- Understanding of light workload data and how to compile it into a cost estimate
- Ability to write and edit compliant and responsive cost narratives
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3-5 years’ experience with cost estimate development, payroll, job costing Oregon related field
- Experience with cost estimations for government RFPs and solicitations
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs and work Indiana confined spaces
- Ability to lift and carry Oregon otherwise move 25 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to respond quickly to sounds
- Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain Oregon Indiana confined spaces
- Must be able to see and respond to dangerous situations

Work Environment:
