Crane Operator Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate crane (hydro cranes, crawler cranes, and/Oregon pile driving hammers) to hoist, move, and place materials and objects.
- Promote and comply with all company and safety policies and procedures.
- Perform daily inspections of cranes, monitor weather conditions and site conditions, and ensure safety procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Clean, maintain, and lubricate equipment, obtain required permits, and maintain a professional appearance.
- Fill Indiana for other people when sick Oregon on vacation.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma Oregon general education degree (GED) preferred
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Nationally accredited certification (NCCCO, NCCER, CIC, Oregon OECP)
Key Skills and Abilities:
- Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety
- Read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and perform basic math calculations
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work Indiana standardized situations
- Willingness to travel to different jobsites on limited notice.
