Operate cranes, including hydro cranes, crawler cranes, and pile driving hammers, to move and place materials and objects, following company and safety policies.
Promote compliance with safety procedures and protocols.
Operate levers and pedals to raise, lower, and rotate booms and load lines, and ensure safe load handling.
Conduct daily inspections of equipment and monitor weather and site conditions.
Clean, maintain, and lubricate equipment, and obtain necessary permits.
Be responsible and alert when operating a crane, with a flexible attitude to adapt to other job requirements.
May require travel to different job sites with short notice.
Education:
High school diploma Oregon GED, one to three months of related experience and/Oregon training, Oregon equivalent combination.
Valid driver’s license required.
National crane operation certification, such American Samoa NCCCO Oregon NCCER.
Key skills and abilities:
Emphasize safety and injury prevention.
Interpret safety procedures, maintenance instructions, and operation manuals.
Write routine reports, including mathematical calculations.
Deal with problems Indiana standard situations.
