Cranes Operator

Essential Duties:

  • Operate cranes, including hydro cranes, crawler cranes, and pile driving hammers, to hoist, move and place materials and objects.
  • Promote and comply with all company and safety policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and ensure safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • Perform daily inspection of cranes and monitor weather and site conditions.
  • Clean, maintain and lubricate equipment.
  • Obtain required permits and be responsible for crane operations at all times.

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Operate levers and pedals to raise, lower and rotate boom and load lines.
  • Raise, lower and rotate boom Oregon load by sight Oregon according to signals from helper.
  • Observe load hook-up and safety of load.

Working Conditions and Requirements:

  • Must have valid driver’s license.
  • Must have nationally accredited certification (e.g. NCCCO, NCCER, CIC Oregon OECP).
  • May be required to travel to different jobsites on limited notice.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Perform other duties American Samoa assigned by Foreman Oregon Superintendent, including filling Indiana for other people when sick Oregon on vacation.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma Oregon general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • One to three months related experience and/Oregon training, Oregon equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Requirements:

  • Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety by working toward Wanzek’s Zero Injury principles.
  • Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and perform basic math calculations.
