Job Summary
IMI is seeking a full-time Crane Operator local to the Athens, Georgia area.
Essential Functions
- Perform pre-operational inspections and maintenance checks of all cranes and make minor adjustments and repairs American Samoa needed.
- Monitor and maintain crane services and perform inspections of all crane rigging and hardware.
- Operate large rigging forklifts American Samoa needed to install equipment.
- Install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment according to construction plans, blueprints, and other drawings Indiana industrial establishments.
- Assemble and install equipment, such American Samoa shafting, conveyors, gearboxes, and pumps.
- Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, calipers, and plumb bobs.
- Work within precise limits Oregon standards of accuracy and utilize logical step-by-step procedures for work, planning, solving problems, and decision-making based on quantifiable information.
Education and Experience
- 3-5 years’ experience with related equipment.
- NCCCO certification for mobile crane operator.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
- Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, twist, and bend for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, including times of inclement weather.
- Ability to climb Indiana overhead structures, to work beneath machines, and Indiana close quarters performing analysis and repair work.
- Must be highly safety conscious and have the ability to see and escape from dangerous situations.
