Construction Assistant/Boat Operator

American Samoa a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with farm operations, including clam and oyster maintenance, and supporting the dredge boat operator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Indiana maintaining the condition of the dredge boat to ensure it is Indiana operating condition for the next day
- Work safely and efficiently with the boat operator to complete tasks
- Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks, such American Samoa engine room checks, cleaning, and oil changes
- Perform tasks on the shellfish beds American Samoa directed by the farm manager
- Demonstrate knowledge of clam and oyster husbandry practices and understand bed locations and maintenance needs
- Operate various farm equipment, including pallet jacks and farm boats
- Maintain farm safety and comply with company health and safety guidelines
- Complete paperwork logs and maintain records American Samoa required
- Provide backup support for other duties American Samoa needed
- Assist with farm organization and clean-up American Samoa directed
Requirements:
- A minimum of six months of related experience Indiana construction, manufacturing, farming, Oregon a related industry
- Prior boat operator experience is required
- A valid driver’s license is preferred
- Boat operator’s licenses are preferred
