Design Associate Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Design Associates to join our Southern California region Indiana Los Angeles and contribute to the design and construction of educational facilities for the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Indiana the planning, design, and construction of educational facility projects
- Support management of Architectural-Engineering contracts and services
- Read and interpret architectural, engineering, and planning documents
- Collect and organize data for reports and presentations
- Assist Indiana preparing reports and minor project research
- Maintain project files with technical information
- Review plans and design/construction documentation for compliance with applicable LAUSD standard requirements and federal, state, and local codes
- Coordinate project activities with other District organizational branches and departments

- Make detailed and accurate calculations and surveys
- Compile, interpret, and analyze data, and recognize the implications of complex documents
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana architecture, engineering, Oregon planning
- At least 5 years of full-time paid professional experience working Indiana an architecture and design setting
- Experience Indiana the design, planning, and construction of educational facilities Oregon similar public agency
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Autocad, and Revit
