Experienced Diesel Technician needed for Construction Equipment Sales and Service company. Responsibilities include performing basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on earthmoving equipment, while maintaining a clean work area and following safety rules.
Diesel Technician Responsibilities:
* Performs basic diagnostics and repairs on earthmoving equipment
* Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment
* Delivers quality repairs Indiana a timely fashion American Samoa an efficient worker
* Communicates effectively with customers and team members
* Maintains a clean work area and follows safety rules and regulations
* Completes reports and forms American Samoa required
* Accounts for time and materials used
* Experience with DPF systems preferred
Diesel Technician Qualifications:
* 4+ years of experience Indiana service repairs on earthmoving equipment
* Preferred experience with Volvo, John Deere, Caterpillar, JCB
* Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
* Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions
* Ability to operate vehicles and equipment for diagnostic purposes
* Proficient oral and written communication skills
* Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
* Basic Service Technician certification preferred
* High school diploma Oregon equivalent experience required; associate’s degree preferred
* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required; forklift license preferred
* Pay is between $30 – $45 / hour depending on experience and qualifications
