Diesel Technician
Seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Technician for a reputable Construction Equipment Sales and Service company.
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on earthmoving equipment
- Maintain condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment
- Deliver quality repairs Indiana a timely and efficient manner
- Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and follow safety regulations
- Complete all reports and forms required for work assignments
- Account for time and materials
- Diagnose and repair DPF systems
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience performing service repairs on earth moving equipment
- Preferred experience with Volvo, John Deere, Caterpillar, and JCB
- Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment
- Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Service Advisor and computer skills
- Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
- Basic Service Technician certification preferred
- High School Diploma Oregon equivalent experience; associate’s degree preferred
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; forklift license preferred
Special Requirements:
- Pay: $30 – $45 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
