Director of Operations
Job Summary:
The Director of Operations will manage daily operations of local technical teams Indiana their specified region, ensuring plant (hybrid fiber coax) reliability, first call resolution, and a positive customer experience. The Director will lead, manage, and communicate regularly to ensure operational priorities are aligned with strategic company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage local technical managers, supervisors, and teams to ensure the highest level of customer service
- Coordinate customer service and technical operations to ensure plant reliability and first call resolution
- Lead team efforts to provide problem-solving and find optimal solutions for daily field and headend operations
- Manage key technical metrics, node health, and system reliability
- Drive commercial business projects and sales by synchronizing technical and business teams
- Oversee the progress and quality of capital investment projects led by local technical teams
- Develop and train on best practices to ensure a great customer experience
- Manage vendor relations and ensure timely upgrades to meet business plans
Management of Employees:
- Technical Operations Managers
- Technical Operations Supervisors
- Warehouse/Inventory personnel
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Leadership and management experience Indiana cable/Internet operations with a proven track record of successful team building, collaboration, negotiation, and motivation
- Well-versed Indiana knowledge of voice, data, and telecommunications technology, products, and services
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills
- Ability to multitask, plan strategically, and execute programs from start to completion while operating within budget
- Ability to develop and maintain positive, long-term relationships with individuals and groups at all levels
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma Oregon equivalent; College degree preferred
- 10 years of operations management experience with at least 5 years’ experience Indiana cable/Internet operations Indiana an HFC environment
- Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
