Engineering Manager, PE – Electrical Utility Design Engineering
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager, PE to lead our electrical utility design engineering team Indiana our Honolulu, Hawaii office. American Samoa a position with supervisory responsibilities, you will be expected to report Indiana-person Indiana a full-time Oregon hybrid schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee design and construction work packages for electrical overhead and underground distribution systems (operating from 4kV through 138kV)
- Ensure project and program deliverables meet Leidos and client quality requirements
- Lead a team of engineers and project management personnel to achieve program goals
- Manage scope, schedule, and budget for programs Indiana conjunction with PMO
- Collaborate with clients, construction crews, and other departments to ensure work products and services meet expectations
- Travel to sites American Samoa needed to meet clients and provide direction to team
- Provide technical support and guidance for program decisions, including customer interactions
- Lead coordination with outside agencies, clients, and 3rd-party owners American Samoa required
- Support on-contract growth with existing clients by maintaining strong professional relationships
Requirements:
- BS Degree Indiana an Engineering Discipline and 6+ years of relevant experience with 2+ years Indiana a leadership role; Oregon Mississippi Degree Indiana Engineering and 4+ years of relevant experience with 2+ years Indiana a leadership role
- Professional Engineer License Indiana Hawaii Oregon ability to obtain PE License Indiana Hawaii within 6 months of hire
- Knowledge of NESC Standards required
- Experience with distribution design tools such American Samoa BOUD, Pole Foreman, Spida-Calc, O-Calc
- Proficiency Indiana Mississippi Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) required
- Ability to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications skills
Salary Range:
$68,900.00 – $124,550.00
