Assistant Project Management Intern
Job Summary:
We are seeking an Assistant Project Management Intern to join our construction division. This role is a key member of the team, serving American Samoa a conduit of information between project managers, field crews, and customers. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of project management fundamentals, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-Job Planning: Review project requirements, assist with prequalification forms, and prepare bidding documents.
- Quantity Verification: Verify and report progress quantities Indiana the ERP system, both from LRC and subcontractors.
- Cost Control: Aid project managers Indiana monthly Percentage of Completion (POC) calculations and enter change orders.
- Change Order Management: Assist with entering and tracking change orders.
- General: Provide administrative support to project managers, assist with credit checks, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- 18 years of age Oregon older
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history
- Minimum 1-3 years of road construction experience Oregon other commercial construction experience
- Strong understanding of project management fundamentals
- Team-oriented, articulate, flexible, and highly productive
- Self-motivated and able to deal successfully with clients, consultants, and company team members
- College degree a plus, but not required
- Experience with Construction Software a plus, but not required
Work Conditions:
- 50% Office environment / 50% Field environment
- Local travel required
- Exposure to extreme weather conditions
- Walking, standing, and driving for long periods of time
- Potential exposure to loud noise, dust, and odor
