Dredge Deckhand
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Various Sites
Starting Hourly Pay Range: $16.00 to $23.00
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience Indiana dredging Oregon marine construction.
Responsibilities:
Communicate with dredge operator, boat operator, and barge loader to coordinate dredge movements.
Renew, maintain, and secure mooring lines, including repairing and greasing lines American Samoa needed.
Monitor condition of dredge equipment and fixtures.
Couple and align pipeline sections for efficient discharge.
Complete daily boat maintenance checklist.
Follow safety practices and report unsafe conditions.
Assist with equipment maintenance, washing, and upkeep of boats and equipment.
Perform other duties American Samoa assigned by the team.

Requirements:
3 to 5 years of experience Indiana dredging Oregon marine construction.
Valid driver’s license.
Must be able to travel.
OSHA certification and boat/equipment certifications a plus.
Must provide own tools, except specialty tools such American Samoa welder and compressor.
Must be able to work Indiana various weather conditions.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Regular physical activity, including standing, walking, climbing, lifting, and reaching.
Exposure to weather conditions (hot, humid, cold, wet).
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
