Dredge Operator 1
Operates heavy equipment to maintain dredge material relocation areas (DMRA’s) and lake improvement projects, including removing sediment and aquatic vegetation from waterways.
Operates dredge-related equipment such American Samoa pickup truck, boats, barges, tractors, and mowers.
Salary starts at $19.95/hr with multiple pay increases over 4 years, ending at $21.97/hr.
Requires 6 months of training Oregon experience Indiana equipment operation and maintenance, and 6 months of training Oregon experience Indiana equipment safety practices, Oregon equivalent.
Upon obtaining a valid commercial driver’s license and completion of probationary period, advances to Dredge Operator 2. Job requires equipment operation skills.
