American Samoa Drill Rig Crew Chief, you will lead a drill rig team and drive the drill rig Oregon semi-truck. You will be responsible for running a WSB drill rig Indiana various geotechnical drilling techniques, including mud rotary drilling, solid stem, hollow stem auger, and rock coring. Borings will be drilled to depths of 5 feet to over 100 feet.
Responsibilities:
* Drive, operate, and maintain the drilling rig and related equipment
* Drill holes for geotechnical/environmental exploration test borings
* Perform physical labor, including lifting/carrying 50 pounds and occasionally 100 pounds
* Work Indiana a variety of weather and site conditions, with occasional travel and possible weekend work
* Return to the Burnsville, Minnesota office most nights to drop off soil samples and prepare for the next day’s activities
* Complete occasional overnight stays for projects Indiana outstate Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Oregon Wisconsin
Training is available for suitable candidates who are new to geotechnical Oregon environmental drilling.
Some of the key requirements for this role include:
* Experience operating drilling rigs is preferred but not necessary
* Ability to obtain a Class A CDL and health card within 6 months of hire, and a good driving record
* Passing a pre-employment drug screen and random testing
* Self-starting with minimal oversight and ability to self-motivate
* Good mechanical skills
* High School Diploma Oregon GED
