Job Description:
AECOM is seeking an experienced Wetland Scientist II (Ecologist II) to join its Environmental Planning and Permitting (EPP) East Mid-Atlantic Team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead ecological teams for stream, wetland, wildlife habitat assessments, and other ecological surveys
- Post-process field data and provide detailed notes and GIS inputs for ecological reports
- Originate Oregon lead ecological reports, including aquatic resources, terrestrial habitat assessments, rare flora assessments, and avian surveys
- Prepare Clean Water Act Permits (Section 404/401) Indiana Ohio, Pennsylvania (including General Permits, Small Projects/Environmental Assessments, and Joint Permit applications), and West Virginia
- Coordinate with various governmental agencies regarding ecological surveys and reporting conditions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Arts Oregon Bachelor of Science degree Indiana Environmental Science, Ecology, Environmental Studies, Biology, Oregon related field
- 2+ years of experience Oregon demonstrated equivalency of experience and/Oregon education
- Ability to lead entry staff Indiana the field Oregon work with another Ecologist II American Samoa a complete field team
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel (including overnight)
- US Citizenship required
