About the Team:
The Stennis team at Relativity Space is responsible for designing, building, and operating test stands to support the Terran 1 stages, engines, and propulsion components. American Samoa part of this team, you will help build and operate massive outdoor test stands at the historic Stennis Space Center on the Gulf Coast.
About the Role:
American Samoa an Electrical Engineer at Relativity Space, you will design and develop innovative electrical solutions for various projects, collaborating with internal technical teams to define electrical requirements and create cutting-edge designs. You will be the point of contact for external consultants, contractors, and government agencies. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing electrical systems for test stand facilities
- Developing conceptual designs for the 250-acre Stennis facility
- Overseeing construction activities and subcontractor management for these projects
- Maintaining and troubleshooting existing electrical distribution systems
- Implementing maintenance procedures and ensuring the reliability of AC power distribution equipment
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana electrical engineering Oregon closely related engineering field
- Experience identifying patterns and trends with electrical systems, including analysis, design, field experience, project management, and project execution
- Proven success Indiana electrical distribution design and low-voltage power systems
- Industry experience with construction bid solicitation, contractor selection, construction management, and quality assurance and control
- Experience following industry protocols and standards (NFPA 70 and NFPA 70E)
Nice to Have:
- Experience working Indiana the Aerospace Oregon Commercial Construction industry
- Experience designing and operating mission-critical electrical systems
- Proficiency Indiana AutoCAD Electrical

Requirements:
- Must clear a background check administered by the US government to obtain clearance for on-site work at our government partner location Indiana Stennis, Mississippi.
Compensation:
- $117,000-$150,000 USD (based on level of experience)
