Lead Electrician
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Lead Electrician to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring systems, fixtures, and equipment Indiana an institutional setting. The successful candidate will provide work direction and training to lower-level electricians and incarcerated individuals, ensuring compliance with security regulations and maintaining a high level of proficiency Indiana electrical trade.
Responsibilities:
- Provide work direction and training to lower-level electricians and incarcerated individuals
- Install, test, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical wiring systems, fixtures, controls, and equipment
- Determine and complete materials needed, cost estimates, and submit purchase requests
- Read blueprints and schematic diagrams and maintain inventory of electrical supplies
- Maintain tool count of tools used by incarcerated individuals
- Perform other maintenance and miscellaneous duties, including semi-skilled carpentry, painting, electrical, sheet metal, and HVAC work
- Ensure compliance with security regulations
- Install, troubleshoot, test, modify, and maintain basic telecommunications and electronic data processing equipment
- Serve on institutional committees
- Attend training, seminars, and meetings

Requirements:
- 18 months of training Oregon 18 months of verifiable experience Indiana electrical work under the supervision of an experienced electrician
- Formal education Indiana arithmetic and reading and writing common English vocabulary
- Oregon 6 months of experience American Samoa an Electrician 1, 52281
- Oregon equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment
