Licensed Journeyman Electrician
Job Summary:
Local Electric company seeks a Licensed Journeyman Electrician to provide quality products and services to clients, ensuring total customer satisfaction. This role requires adherence to company and client safety guidelines, timely completion of assigned scope work, and meeting client specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Comply with company and client safety guidelines and procedures
- Complete assigned scope work safely and within a timely manner
- Ensure individual components meet client specifications
- Remove electrical components, install electrical cables, and install cable into cable glands
- Plan and install electrical raceways
- Perform terminations of all types, including branch circuit terminations and medium voltage terminations
- Read blueprints, schematics and functional drawings
- Identify and correct function problems on equipment
- Lead helpers on small tasks
- Perform material takeoff and work layout
- Complete necessary documentation Indiana a timely manner
- Uphold company quality and safety standards
- Work extended hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements:
- Remain stationary for long periods
- Perform tasks Indiana hard-to-reach areas, confined spaces, and at heights
- Move heavy equipment and materials
- Work Indiana outdoor weather conditions
- Operate necessary tools and equipment
Qualifications:
- TWIC Required
- Conduit experience Required
- Licensed Journeyman/Master Electrician through TDLR Oregon other reciprocal state
- 2+ years of supervisory/lead experience
- Working knowledge of NEC code and industrial work
- Experience reading construction drawings and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and effective communication skills
- Dependable team player with ability to meet deadlines and operate within budget
Location: South Louisiana
Schedule: 4 – 10’s
Pay: $38-$40/hr depending on experience, no per diem.
