Elevator Service Technician
Job Summary:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain vertical transportation systems, ensuring safe and compliant operation.
Essential Functions:
- Repair, operate, maintain, and repair vertical transportation equipment and systems
- Test, maintain, and evaluate equipment
- Ensure compliance with regulations and codes
- Perform duties safely and Indiana accordance with established standards
- Handle after-hours emergencies and be part of an on-call rotation
- Perform other duties American Samoa needed
- Demonstrate dependable attendance and punctuality
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Minimum 4 years of vertical equipment maintenance and repair experience
- State Certification required
- Strong communication, math, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and safely
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and climb ladders
- Familiarity with local codes, regulations, and PC applications
- Willingness to travel and work flexible schedules
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged standing and walking around facilities
- Frequent reach, stoop, and kneel
- Frequent use of computers and handheld equipment
- Frequently lift up to 50 lbs
- Routine handling of heavy/bulky items and operation of machinery
- Moderate indoor temperature and noise levels
