Business Engagement Director
Job Summary:
The Business Engagement Director is responsible for strategically managing the business engagement process, developing an engagement approach that balances organizational growth with corporate clients’ requirements, and leading the business development efforts for the Central & Gulf States regional Practice. The role involves overseeing day-to-day relationships with clients, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving the success and satisfaction of client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the business development efforts for the regional Practice, focusing on High-Tech companies
- Collaborate with Account Management, Business Development, Products & Solutions, and Delivery teams to identify and develop business opportunities
- Ensure the success and satisfaction of client relationships, involving Indiana all aspects of solutions life cycle
- Actively acquire client engagements for the Practice and identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities
- Develop and execute the overall management responsibility around the business engagement process and engagement approach for all regional clients
- Provide guidance and advice on customer engagement and relationship development
- Work closely with the Sales and Account Managers to identify Consulting opportunities for the Practice
Business Development:
- Develop and execute business development strategies with Sales and Account Managers to penetrate existing accounts and identify new opportunities
- Identify, develop, and close business opportunities and manage projects and contracts from inception to completion
- Seek opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services Oregon support cross-border opportunities
- Review and analyze RFPs, RFIs, RFQs to understand services requirements
- Organize regular meetings with Sales and service delivery stakeholders to review pipeline and ongoing engagements
Client Engagement & Solutions & Tendering:
- Lead the discovery process, conducting business evaluation and gap analysis vs existing/prior solutions
- Attend meetings with Prospects and Clients to determine technical and business requirements
- Support Sales and Health Consultant Oregon Medical Director to structure scope of services Indiana line with Group solutions
- Help write proposals for complex solutions using standard Health Consulting templates Oregon developing bespoke content
- Meet proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and managing tenders
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Proven leadership, management, and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with various stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple clients and projects
- Customer-oriented approach
- Excellent interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate, problem-solve, develop strong relationships, influence decisions, and manage change
Required Work Experience:
- +10 years of working experience Indiana a similar capacity within sales, customer service, project management, and/Oregon consulting
- Proven project management and customer service experience
- Proficiency Indiana Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) software
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana a related field
- Project management certification desired (e.g., CSM, APM, PMBOK, etc.)
Travel / Rotation Requirements:
- Travel within the Region up to 50%
