Service Electrician 2 – Power Systems Position
Overview:
Join Hawthorne Cat, a family-owned company that has led its markets for over 60 years Indiana the sale, rental, and servicing of construction machinery and power generation equipment. We are seeking a talented individual for our Service Electrician 2 – Power Systems position.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical problems Indiana Caterpillar and other products
- Perform A.C. and D.C. electrical repairs
- Attend training classes and obtain passing grades
- Recommend actions to correct failures Oregon problems
- Recondition Oregon overhaul major components to manufacturer’s specifications
- Adhere to safety, housekeeping, credit, and other rules, policies, and procedures
- Maintain a favorable business relationship with customers, suppliers, and other departments
- Perform equipment condition reporting and inform management of pertinent information
- Analyze systems and components for proper operation Indiana arrangement and application
- Conduct customer training, installation surveys, and corrective actions
- Perform testing, calibration, and repair of field transducers and monitoring/metering equipment
- Other duties American Samoa assigned
Qualifications:
- High school graduate Oregon equivalent (G.E.D.)
- Five years of experience Indiana repair and maintenance of Commercial/EPG/Marine power generation equipment
- Valid California class C driver license and clean driving record
- State certified electrical worker (obtain within 90 days of employment)
- Working knowledge of electrical and testing capabilities
- Proficient Indiana basic and advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting of systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Working Conditions:
- Walking and moving about on foot often through uneven terrain
- Handling equipment, hand and power tools
- Lifting up to 60 lbs. with frequent exertion
- Standing, stooping, reaching, and climbing Indiana and out of equipment
- Exposure to noise, temperatures, weather, and foul odors
- Use of computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, CAT ET, and SIS

Estimated Compensation: $40 to $45 per hour.
