Entry-Level Civil Engineer
Job Summary:
Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN) seeks an entry-level civil engineer to perform routine engineering tasks under direct supervision, contributing to the design and development of water conveyance systems and water pumping stations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Indiana preliminary engineering evaluations and studies to identify design improvement alternatives and make design recommendations.
- Analyze reports, maps, drawings, aerial photographs, and survey data to plan and assemble construction documents.
- Prepare plan sections of routine projects under the direction of a project engineer Oregon senior CADD technician.
- Participate Indiana quantity estimate preparation and construction, topographic, and boundary survey layouts.
- Ensure project quality on assigned tasks Indiana accordance with Quality Assurance / Quality Control guidelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Oregon Master’s degree Indiana Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college Oregon university.
- Understanding of surveying and basic engineering terminology.
- Certified Intern (EIT) Oregon pass the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam within 6 months of start.
- 0-2 years of experience Indiana civil engineering Oregon a related field.
- Valid driver’s license.
