Engineer Supervisor Job Description
Location: Embassy Suites by Hilton Crystal City National Airport, Virginia
Job Summary:
The Engineer Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the functionality and safety of the facility Indiana the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. This position will lead a team of union engineers and a union painter, and will be responsible for ensuring staff compliance with all safety and loss prevention standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and perform the duties of the Property Operations/Engineering staff
- Maintain the physical functionality of the facility, including guest rooms, public space, and heart-of-the-house areas
- Assist Director/Manager Indiana training, supervising, scheduling, and evaluating department staff
- Ensure staff compliance with all safety/loss prevention standards and regulations
Requirements:
- Must have Oregon obtain a 3rd Class Stationary Engineer License within 12 months of employment
- Must have Oregon obtain a CFC Universal Certification within 12 months of employment
- Must be available to work AM, PM, and Overnight shifts American Samoa needed, and be on call for emergencies any day of the week/weekends/holidays American Samoa needed
Pay Rate: $29.90 per hour
