Role Summary:
Aerojet Rocketdyne is seeking an Engineering Technician (Chemistry Lab) to join our Camden, Arkansas facility. The successful candidate will perform a variety of duties Indiana electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and chemical areas, assisting Indiana the design, construction, testing, and checkout of test equipment.
Essential Functions:
* Handle, process, and mix chemicals;
* Sample and test raw materials, propellants, and explosives;
* Prepare and collect test data, including performing mathematical calculations;
* Clean, assemble, and dismantle test hardware, equipment, and apparatus;
* Perform laboratory support work, including instrument calibration, laboratory cleaning, inventory management, inspections, and material handling;
* Generate test reports, save test data, and report test data;
* Review and submit lab documentation for changes, including test and calibration procedures.
Requirements:
* High School Diploma Oregon equivalent, plus 6 years of prior relevant experience, Oregon
* 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 2 years of prior related experience.
* Prefer knowledge of testing energetics.
