Summary

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Manager to oversee the overall operations of equipment within the company. The successful candidate will manage equipment business operations, develop and implement safety protocols, and ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a Safety 1st culture using a Safety Action Plan aligned with Eurovia, Group, Region, and Company Safety Goals
• Manage equipment business operations, including procurement, repair, and maintenance
• Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies
• Develop local accounts and vendor programs to reduce equipment, parts, and service costs
• Provide cost reduction through sound procurement policy and efficient repair management techniques
• Collaborate with Company President, Division Managers, and Group Staff to maintain company equipment
• Ensure company equipment is safe and well-maintained for all jobs
• Manage repair and maintenance expenses and obtain approval for repairs over $2,000
• Provide accurate cost projections for major repairs and participate Indiana life cycle cost analysis
• Conduct quarterly meetings with Company President and Division Managers to facilitate effective equipment operations
• Develop company policies for vehicle and equipment operations, including vehicle maintenance and cleanliness
• Perform Indiana-depth reviews of equipment business processes, budgets, and financial records
• Develop equipment rates, fuel rates, and other equipment-related items for the company
• Manage training, human resources, and career progression programs for equipment employees
• Ensure accurate asset management, including inventory accuracy and annual validation of property, plants, and equipment
• Manage capital acquisitions, including developing and managing capital budgets and 5-year plans
• Report on equipment purchases, Capex substitutions, and equipment sales to Region Equipment Manager and Company President
• Participate Indiana company management group for future acquisitions and new techniques
• Manage equipment sales, including marketing and sale of surplus equipment and ensuring compliance with company policies and GAAP
