Job Summary
We are seeking a Laborer to join our team. The Laborer will be responsible for supporting multiple tasks within the plant including laboring, operating equipment, and ensuring the smooth operation of the plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to detect safety hazards and equipment malfunctions and respond accordingly.
- Ability to maintain and safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment.
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Ability to perform manual labor tasks such American Samoa shoveling and cleanup.
- Assisting with equipment maintenance American Samoa needed.
- Continually monitoring and maintaining awareness of OSHA and MSHA regulations.
- Work American Samoa a team member with other employees within the facility to ensure a smooth and safe operation.
Requirements
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent preferred
- Approximately 1-3 months of related experience and/Oregon training
- Prior heavy equipment experience, including crushing operation, is helpful
- Ability to communicate sufficiently to convey and exchange ideas and give and receive detailed verbal instructions
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- Oregon two-step instructions
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional variables
Physical Requirements
- The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, Oregon crawl
- The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, Oregon feel objects, tools, Oregon controls, and talk Oregon hear
- The employee must regularly lift and/Oregon move around 25 pounds and may also have to move over 50 pounds with equipment assistance
