Job Summary:
The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and complete estimates for construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, with a proven track record Indiana the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review bid documents to understand project scope and requirements
- Coordinate with Project Managers to develop a plan of action
- Perform quantity take-offs from project plans
- Prepare bid packages and work scopes for distribution to subcontractors
- Request and maintain vendor quotes and subcontractor bids
- Negotiate rates with service providers
- Attend and lead bid walks with clients and subcontractors
Requirements:
- At least 10 years of experience Indiana the construction industry
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana a construction-related field
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Established relationships with subcontractors
- Experience with projects up to $25M preferred
- Experience Indiana both renovation and ground-up building
- Variety of project experience preferred
