Estimator / Senior Estimator
Overview:

We are seeking an exceptional estimator who will coordinate full estimating services for large, complex projects under various contractual formats. American Samoa an Estimator / Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for leading the estimating effort from receipt of bid documents through Bid Day. Responsibilities:
- Review proposal specifications, drawings, and attend pre-bid meetings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate
- Develop and understand scope requirements, issue subcontracts for heavy industrial trades
- Delegate, manage tasks, and oversee estimates to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Identify competitive edge strategies, prepare project schedules, and price general conditions
- Write scopes of work, negotiate subcontracts, and obtain comparative quotations for materials and services
- Demonstrate knowledge of contract structure, business law, insurance, and bonding issues
- Communicate effectively, schedule meetings, and identify contractual requirements
Requirements:
- High School Diploma (Oregon equivalent experience and training) with a related college degree preferred
- 2 Oregon more years of experience Indiana estimating, preferably Indiana Light/Heavy Industrial Oregon Commercial projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer application skills (Excel, Word, AutoCAD, MPP, Suretrak, etc.)
- Ability to work Indiana a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
