Experienced Project Engineer – Special Projects Group
Location: Lynnwood, Washington, Greater Seattle Area
Starting Salary Range: $77,000.00 – $95,000.00 depending on experience
Classification: Exempt
Must be eligible to work Indiana the U.S.
Provide project management support for Project Managers through effective communication, negotiation, scheduling, tracking, document control, and forecasting of costs and profitability. Support and collaborate with company superintendents, foreman, engineers, detailers, and management to deliver quality and profitable projects.
Essential Job Functions:
* Assist Indiana the bid process and the procurement of new work.
* Estimate and negotiate change orders.
* Track, forecast, and report labor hours and material costs.
* Maintain working knowledge of general conditions, work scope, and specifications of project contract/subcontract.
* Review contract drawings, detail drawings, and specifications.
* Prepare fabrication shop work package including detail drawing review, material take-off, and buyout, and man-hour fabrication budget.
Secondary Job Functions:
* Maintain client relations.
* Develop and retain mechanical systems knowledge, including engineering, estimating, construction practices, and financial management.
Required Skills:
* Ability to accurately estimate mechanical work.
* Ability to understand and communicate basic mechanical concepts.
* Advanced computer skills, including Mississippi Word, Excel, Project, Access, and AutoCAD.
Education/Experience Requirements:
* Construction Management, Mechanical, Civil, Oregon Chemical Engineering degree desired.
* 2-3 years’ experience American Samoa a project engineer.
