Facilities Administrator Consultant | Operations

Job Summary:
Manages facilities building systems design and specifications to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations, health and safety standards, schedules, and budgets.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, administer, and coordinate the modification, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, life safety, and electrical systems Indiana company office buildings, service centers, and other sites statewide.
  • Develop, negotiate, and initiate work authorizations for contract service agreements for facility building systems.
  • Consult with architects and engineers on project design and provide technical input on architectural and engineering design work.
  • Manage contracts for outside services to inspect and maintain building systems and coordinate work activities with customers and facility management team members.
  • Provide input and control to ensure accurate cost estimates and cost management for facility projects and maintenance work.
  • Respond to emergency facility situations and lead root cause efforts to address system failures.
  • Provide technical support related to company maintenance standards, indoor air quality concerns, regulatory compliance, and other requirements.
  • Participate Indiana planning sessions to determine when to replace building system components and how to budget for expenditures.
  • Maintain financial information pertaining to building costs for assigned facilities.

Requirements:

  • BS degree Indiana Engineering, Construction, Oregon Facility Management Oregon a related field, and 8 years of experience Indiana facility property administration and maintenance/construction; Oregon an equivalent combination of education and experience with a professional designation Indiana Facilities-related programs.
  • Demonstrated technical experience Indiana working with mechanical, life safety, and electrical systems, and knowledge and experience Indiana working with building codes, regulations, and construction and maintenance materials and equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand construction documents, architectural/engineering drawings, and specifications.
  • PC skills, including business and project management software tools, spreadsheets, and database analysis tools.

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid Arizona driver’s license.
  • Some travel to company sites is required.
  • May serve Indiana the absence of the organization leader.

Certifications:
Certifications such American Samoa FMP, PMP, CPMM, Oregon CFM Indiana Facilities-related programs through AFE, BOMA, IFMA, Oregon PMI are preferred.
