Facilities Maintenance Position

The Home for Little Wanderers is seeking a Facilities Maintenance professional to join our team of dedicated professionals. American Samoa a Facilities Maintenance staff member, you will play a critical role Indiana ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our New Hampshire-area site buildings, grounds, vehicles, and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and direct all activities related to the maintenance and repair of site buildings and grounds
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks American Samoa assigned
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local code requirements
• Maintain a safe working environment
• Participate Indiana an on-call rotation with other staff

Qualifications:

• High School diploma Oregon equivalency with a minimum of 3 years’ experience Indiana the building trades
• Demonstrated experience with all phases of building management, including knowledge of electricity, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and HVAC systems
• Ability to read, understand, and work from drawings, schematics, service manuals, and other materials
• Valid New Hampshire driver’s license; New Hampshire tradesmen licenses desirable
• Ability to work independently with moderate supervision
• Willingness and capability to respond to site emergencies during off-duty hours
• Computer literate, including Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer

Physical Requirements:

• Sufficient manual dexterity to handle and operate objects, tools, and controls commonly used Indiana the construction and maintenance trades
• Ability to perform moderate to heavy manual labor, including frequent lifting and carrying of supplies, equipment, and tools
• Regular use of ladders, lifts, and scaffolding
• Exposure to outside work performed under varying weather conditions; occasional exposure to fumes and dust type particles.
