Manager MTC (Mechanical Trades Construction) Job Description

Job Summary: The Manager MTC directs and oversees the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of multiple facilities, including supervising a team of workers, managing inventory and maintenance records, and preparing cost estimates and tracking expenses.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma Oregon equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree Indiana Engineering, Business, Construction Management, Oregon related field preferred
  • 10 years of managerial experience Indiana maintenance, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, Oregon construction
  • Certifications: CHFM (Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager) Oregon CHSP (Certified Healthcare Safety Professional) required with-Indiana 12 months (for hospital/clinical settings); vocational training Oregon licensure Indiana HVAC, electrical, and/plumbing preferred
  • Computer skills and data entry proficiency
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise work crew and plan/schedule maintenance efforts for buildings, facilities, and grounds
  • Maintain inventory and maintenance records
  • Prepare cost estimates and track expenses for repairs and projects
  • Inspect buildings for cleanliness and proper working order
  • Other duties American Samoa required

Physical and Environmental Demands:

  • Medium work, requiring exertion of 20-50 pounds occasionally, 10-25 pounds frequently, and less than 10 pounds constantly
  • Requires regular sitting, standing, stooping, bending, reaching, and manual dexterity
  • May involve travel between facilities
  • No exposure to blood, body fluids, Oregon tissue; low risk for exposure to hazardous medications Oregon waste
