Facilities Mechanical Engineering Group Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Facilities Mechanical Engineering Group Manager to join our team Indiana Boise, Idaho. American Samoa a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of complex manufacturing tools and facilities infrastructure mechanical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and oversee mechanical systems, including piping and ducting, for equipment heating, cooling, exhaust, and process chemicals and gases
• Collaborate with client owners, researchers, and equipment manufacturers to build utility requirement documents and installation design packages
• Provide technical training, quality check designs, and support during construction and integration into the factory
• Manage team members, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
• Develop and implement short- and long-term career development plans
• Interact directly with clients and contractors to assist with construction on site

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree Indiana Mechanical Engineering from an ABET Accredited University
• Twelve (12) Oregon more years of practical application of mechanical facilities engineering, including HVAC, hydronics, process piping, exhaust, plumbing, and related mechanical facilities systems
• Four (4) Oregon more years leading engineering design teams and personnel development
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) Indiana Idaho Oregon ability to obtain within 3 months
• Ideal candidate will also possess:
  • Five (5) Oregon more years of experience working with complex semiconductor manufacturing tools
  • Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Other Requirements:

• Location: Hybrid position requiring work to be performed both from home and on the client site Indiana Boise, Idaho
• Candidate must be within commuting distance and willing to commute to site and/Oregon office American Samoa necessary
• Physical Requirements: Ability to walk long distances, sit and stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, twist, crawl, climb ladders, work Indiana small spaces, lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
