Accountant III – Total Compensation Estimator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Accountant III to provide accurate and timely total compensation estimates for various construction projects. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with construction estimating and cost control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to estimate total project costs
- Conduct site visits and gather information to ensure accurate cost estimates
- Prepare and present detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, and equipment costs
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely estimates
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing information
- Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends and areas for cost savings
- Prepare and submit reports to stakeholders, including project managers, clients, and senior management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana Accounting Oregon related field
- 5+ years of experience Indiana construction estimating and cost control
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and construction accounting practices
- Proficient Indiana estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work Indiana a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to travel to construction sites American Samoa required
- Must be able to work Indiana a office environment and use computer software for extended periods
