Job Summary:
We are currently seeking Fiber Splicers for our Telecom program Indiana Indiana. Responsibilities include:
Work with Foreman/Construction Manager to plan installations and adhere to safety principles.
Read prints, install, and test fiber cable Indiana various environments (underground, aerial).
Bond and ground fibers according to current specifications.
Place splice closures, fiber fusion splicing machines, and other associated equipment.
Perform testing using OTDR, Power Meter/Light Sources, and VFLs, and record and document results.
Maintain a professional working attitude with coworkers and customers.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience American Samoa a fiber splicer with outside plant Oregon system installations experience.
Working knowledge of construction practices and fiber cable.
Ability to detect safety issues and work independently.
Pre-employment skills assessment certification required.
Must be willing to perform manual labor, work Indiana all-weather environments, and carry heavy equipment.
Must be able to speak English fluently and clearly.
Must be capable of carrying up to 32-foot ladders and wear fall protection.
Must work 5 days a week, with ability to work overtime, and will be required to travel.

Physical Requirements:
