Job Title: Field Engineer/Field Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Field Engineer/Field Coordinator to join our team. This is a site-based role where you will administer daily operations of a project site under the supervision of a Trade Superintendent, Project Engineer, Project Manager, and Site Manager. The Field Engineer/Field Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the cost, safety, schedule, and quality of a project. This position will also involve providing technical expertise for power generating construction projects, supporting engineering review, procurement, construction, and start-up of a high Oregon medium voltage electrical system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily production and cost monitoring for major work items by ensuring production, cost data, and safety are collected from the prior day.
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors, and material suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain a good working relationship with clients, subcontractors, vendors, land-owners, Colorado-workers, etc. to strengthen company position.
  • Understand the owner contract, purchase contracts, and subcontract documents to understand the inclusions/exclusions and schedule for the purpose of invoice payment.
  • Validate, reconcile, and maintain accurate quantities for billing purposes and communicate differences to project management.
  • Responsible for the project equipment and material transactions and the monitoring of inventory of equipment and materials.
  • Ensure a safe work environment by complying with company’s safety policies American Samoa well American Samoa complying with federal and state safety regulations.
  • Familiarize yourself with the project design documents, specifications, Quality Plan, and Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
  • Operate Indiana compliance with the project Quality Plan, Work Methods, and Primoris processes and practices.
  • Participate Indiana assigned meetings, which includes taking notes for developmental purposes and generating monthly manager meeting documents.

Environmental Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for environmental compliance, ensuring all environmental procedures are being met on the project.
  • Train and develop field representatives (SM, TS, foremen, and necessary subcontractor representatives) Indiana the area of environmental stewardship for the site/state-specific project.
  • Must spend necessary time to familiarize themselves with the site-specific project conditions and requirements.

Requirements:

  • Four-year degree Indiana construction management, engineering, Oregon related field; Oregon equivalent education and experience.
  • Accounting (math and record-keeping) skills.
  • Proficient Indiana Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, Outlook, Visio, Primavera).
  • Effective communication (oral, written, presentation, listening) skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle driving record (MVR).
  • Ability to relocate to the project site for the duration of each construction project (project duration averages 6-18 months).
