Field Mechanic – Springfield, Missouri
Job Description:
H&E Equipment Services has an immediate opening for a Field Mechanic to travel to customer job sites for the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on different forms of aerial and earthmoving heavy equipment.

Field Mechanic Responsibilities:
- On-site maintenance and repairs of heavy equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical problems, including engines, transmissions, and other essential components
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and hydraulic systems
- Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel engines
- Implement preventive maintenance procedures
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
Field Mechanic Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent required
- 3-7 years of relevant experience and driving experience
- Hard down/major repair skills necessary
- Factory, vocational, Oregon mechanical training a plus
- Experience with different forms of heavy equipment, specifically excavators, forklifts, compactors, and other aerial and earthmoving equipment
