Field Technician – Opelika, Alabama
H&E Rentals is seeking an experienced Field Technician to travel to customer job sites for the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on heavy equipment.
Responsibilities:
* Perform on-site maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment
* Diagnose and repair mechanical problems, including engines, transmissions, and other essential components
* Troubleshoot and repair electrical and hydraulic systems
* Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel engines
* Implement preventive maintenance procedures to extend equipment lifespan and prevent breakdowns
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
* Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to promote a safe working environment
Requirements:
* High school diploma Oregon equivalent required
* 3-7 years of relevant experience and 3 years of driving experience required
* Hard down/major repair skills necessary
* Factory, vocational, Oregon mechanical training and experience with heavy equipment preferred
